How can i prepare myself for interview?

  • i am an m.sc(comp. sc) student.This is my last semester i want to prepare myself for interview.How would i prepare myself for that.

    Dress proper, have a firm handshake, always tell them what THEY want to hear, tell them what your skills are and how it will help them in the company. Most of all, believe in yourself. Will need a good resume also with no funky stuff in it. -rocketsfan4lyfe

Here are a few tips that may make a difference for you! Structure Follow a logical structure. We suggest you approach the case by following these five steps to generate a hypothesis and supporting arguments. Listen closely to the situation and to the questions you'll be asked Firmly establish your understanding of the case Create an approach that focuses on critical issues and guides your analysis Analyze the problem. Ask the interviewer focused questions and evaluate the situation Clearly summarize your final analysis and conclusions Think out loud so that the interviewer understands the direction of your thinking. You may also want to write down your findings and assumptions. Remember, there is no "right" way of doing a case; nor is there a single answer. If you have demonstrated the way you think, you have done all you can to "crack the case." Attitude Interact with the interviewer. The case should be a dialogue, not a monologue. Pace yourself. It's important to not rush to conclusions. And perhaps most important, relax and have fun.

Something that I do is get on the Internet and learn everything that I can about the company. The interviewer always seems impressed that I know a lot about the company. And it also shows that I have shown intuitive.
