Where can I learn all about computing and computers?

My son wants work in computing?

• my son is 12 and he is very clever with computers he knows how to make viruses and and he can change account type from Limited to an administrator without knowing my password (im the only admin) and he wants to start learning to become a it technician and i don't know where to find him some where to learn in school the are just doing power points in computing help help please help

  since he is 12 years old there might not be anymore than computer "using" classes in his school right now but in high school he should be able to take a few C or C++ classes, for me tho they only offered BASIC so i had to teach myself (im in 11th grade right now). The public school system is not the best place to find training in the computer science feild so right now there is not much you can do. Although when your looking at college there is alot more options. Everything i know about computers is self taught, if your son is lucky enough they might offer some basic computer programing classes or basic networking classes in high school but untill then there is not much to do but teach urself using online resources. By the way creating root kits and viruses is illegal, dont let him distribute them.
