Why can't I delete my history?

How do i delete computer history,to where restoring everything cant even bring it back?

  • i have windows vista. i have done the basics so please dont suggest that. i have gone to tools and did that number and i also delete all browsing history,cookies,bla bla. but i know you can bring back all you have deleted,like restore everything,how do i delete everything to where that wont even bring anything up?

Find you "Windows Vista" install disks open the CD / DVD tray and place the CD inside... close and shut down your computer... press F10 or F2 repeatably on start up... select Boot from CD.... act like you are going to install it again... when you reach the "Partition Manager" select Advanced options and click format on all partitions (select 1 click format) then once this is complete back all the way out and shut down your computer... everything on the hard drive should now be gone... PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WILL GET RID OF EVERYTHING FOREVER.... EVERYTHING....

You can try low-level formatting or reinitializing your drive. You can do that using most disk utility software out there, such as Symantec or Norton. What it does is zero-filling all parts of the hard-drive. (I have heard that this should be done at least 7 times in a row, but it might be just a rumor.) It wouldn't hurt to reinstall your system. :) The next best thing is to destroy the hard-drive physically (not a joke, but of course not recommended.) Good luck.
