How good is Thunderbird mail?

HELP!! How can I completely get rid of Thunderbird mail??

• I normally use Outlook Express for my current email and Hotmail account. I just recently downloaded Thunderbird to see if it was better. Turn to find out, I cannot use my Hotmail account with Thunderbird; therefore, I uninstalled Thunderbird to continue using Outlook. Now when I go to open an email through Outlook, I cannot; it seems as if my mail attachment is still through Thunderbird (Thunderbird document). I had to install Thunderbird again just to be able to open my emails!! How can I completely get rid of Thunderbird and be able to open my documents like before (through Outlook Express)??   Outlook Express as the default Mail program: If you open outlook Express, click tools, options. On the General Tab, there is an option to make it the default mail program. Uninstall Thunderbirld Mail: "You can remove Thunderbird 2 through the Control Panel in the Start Menu on Windows, by removing the Thunderbird application on OS X, or by removing the thunderbird folder on Linux. Removing Thunderbird 2 won't remove your email messages, extensions or other add-ons.
