MADDEN 09- How do you apply double coverage to a WR?
-
For PS3 please...Is it effective agaist 5 wide?

Answer:
double coverage is a good idea for deep recievers like randy moss, or something, but most defensive schemes only have double x or double z plays. but in dime normal formation there is a play called "double wide" which is man coverage on every reciever and doubling coverage on both split ends. i dont reccomend this play because all the opponent has to do is to is put the wide outs on curls to get rid of the double coverage and because in most cases a slot reciever is a deep threat and will be matched up with maybe a linebacker (spells disaster). both safeties will be drawn out to cover split ends so, yeah double coverage is ok, but i reccomend more of a 2 man under out of dime, or a 3 man deep out of quarter 3 deep.
