How to delete the previously visited sites on the search bar?

I would like to know how to delete the web sites I've visited off of my search bar?

    Go to Tools, then choose Internet options. At Internet options you click clear history and that' it. :))

go to control panel and internet options and clear history. i have windows 2000 pro, it is different on other versions, but should be in the control panel....

I know one way to go there and not have it show up in the adress bar just look it up at yahoo and click on the link then its not in the pull down adress bar

Go to 'tools' in your MS Explorer, select Internet Options, delete History...that should get rid of everything up until the time you did this. IF you do not want history of where you have been, change the history to 0 and no history will be recorded. Good luck. It is also a good idea to delete Internet files at the same time.
