Hide network connection icon in system tray?
-
What I would like to do is get rid of one of my connections icons in the system tray. - It is for Xbox Live, so most of the time it is not connected, therefore leaving an icon in the system tray telling me. There's no option to not show the icon when it is disconnected. - I do NOT want to disable it, I need it enabled for when I use Xbox Live. I don't want to keep enabling/disabling. - The two options are UNTICKED in properties. - I would rather not hide the icon by choosing to allow icons to hide when inactive. All my icons are showing. Basically, I just don't want it in the system tray. Should be easy but unfortunately it's damn hard. I don't know if its possible but if anyone knows how, let me know. Thanks.

Answer:
You can't remove an item that has been added to the toolbar. If you never need to use it I would suggest clicking on Always Hide in properties, as there is no way to delete it from the toolbar. Inside the program itself. There may be an option to show or not show it on the toolbar. This is the case with a few programs. Try searching within the prgogram itself for this option. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
