.zip files don't get uploaded onto mediafire, why?!?

I can't upload .zip files to mediafire all of a sudden, I can only upload seperate files like .mp3/.avi. Also, another related problem that started at the same time - whenever I copy anything from one folder, and paste it into another folder, the pasted item doesn't show up (it used to). I have to go to another folder, then back to that folder THEN i'll see the item I pasted. Why? I'm getting extremely irritated. It just simply doesn't let me upload them to mediafire. I click on the .zip file [say, an album for example] and it takes me to the contents of the .zip file - all of the mp3 files.
Answer:

F5 instead of revisiting a folder. The zip files are being opened. You may need to adjust settings. instead, click ONCE on the file, and then click Open.

i would do a system restore from your start menu -> all programs -> accesories -> system tools -> system restore. when your on it choose a date that was before the problem occoured. good luck :Þ
