How do you clear media player classic history?

Is there a way to check the history of a dvd played in windows media player?

  • i suspect that my room-mate used my work laptop to watch an adult dvd lastnight. i'm worried that now when i dock my computer in the docking station at work on monday, that somehow my work will be able to see it, and i'll get fired. can i see if he watched anything? can i erase the windows media player history if there is something there? (my room-mate is such an idiot..... thats what the dvd player for the tv is for!!!) someone please help!

  • Answer:

Althought Windows Media player does keep a history of what was played (if that setting is on), your work won't be able to see the history of it. Your work will only see what you send in and out of your PC through the internet. Even if there was some adult sites that you went to outside of work, they won't be able to tell you went to them unless you went to those site while you were at work. In other words, you have nothing to worry about. If you are still worried about it, click the link below to find out how to delete recent playlists... http://support.microsoft.com/KB/243621
