PSP charger won't charge?

Can you charge a UK PSP battery with an Australian USB charger as I have tried, but to no avail.?

  • The rating of my UK PSP battery is 3.6v and 1800maH. USB charger came with no ratings and I was wondering if they had a different rating. When I plug it in, the orange light will come on and I can turn on PSP, but charge diminishes before game loads. The USB charger was from a company called Powerwave. Should I get a refund and get one sent from UK to Australia?

    All the PSP of the world are same; the only difference between them is the software versons. So, there is no need to worry about U.K. and Australia. Now, what you will have to do is forget that USB charger and go to your nearest Sony dealer and get one from there. And before taking it home you should check it whether it works or not. Always use original Sony PSP accessories.
