I am trying to get sound for my yahoo games. I went to preferences, and sounds. The mute button is not check?

After I went to sounds. the mute button is not checked. I can still get sound for my messenger but not the games.

Answer:
You might need to update your sound driver. Go to Control panel and then systems and look for your sound card. Keep your sound card brand in mind and then go to http://www.soundcard-drivers.com/ You can download and update your sound driver and it should work.
