What is an confirmation code?
-
I am trying to change my e-mail address for my myspace profile but they said I have to enter my confirmation code.
-
Answer:
They most likely emailed a confirmation request to your old email asking if this is what you really want to do (and to make sure that YOU requested it, and not some joker looking to play a joke). Check your old email, and typically there's a link to click on to make the change in the email.

they e-mailed you a "confirmation code" to the e-mail address you originally gave them. You have to go there, to that e-mail address, confirm you are who you are and then you can make changes to your account. If you typed the wrong e-mail address and that is why you want to change it, you'll have to e-mail Tom

What exactly are you doing? It works fine for me. I just went to "Account Settings" and changed it twice. It didn't ask me for a confirmation code. Myspace doesn't even send you one when you activate your site.
