How to use Outlook with Hotmail?

I have opened a new Hotmail account. I want to use Microsoft Outlook to download my emails.?

Outlook Express tells me that it no longer can do hotmail accounts ............dumb I say as always used to use my email accounts in outlook.

You have to look through your Hotmail information for the POP email information. Then you set up an email account in Outlook with the POP information Hotmail provided.

rite it's really hard to get msn hotmail to download emails to outlook your stmp serverand incoming / outgoing ports will need configuration, i would ya a safe bet is not to try it

If you have a POP3 mail account than configure outlook. If you don't know how? Than hotmail it self will give you the detail to configure your outlook. If your account does not have pop3 account than you will have to have a paid mail with POP3 account.
