Where can I download Insignia 400a drivers?

Built-in webcam still won't work after I download the drivers/software. 10 points!?

  • I have a Toshiba Portege M700 laptop/tablet with Windows Vista Business on it, and it has a Chicony usb 2.0 webcam built in. In order to use the webcam you have to download the drivers for it. I initially went to the Toshiba model filer on this site: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=1927814&rpn=PPM70U&modelFilter=M700&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768662 ^from there I selected Portege M700. It does say there are a lot of sub-models of M700, but to my knowledge I don't have any of those sub-models, I just have a regular M700. I went to start, control panel, system, and it just said Model: Portege M700 (nothing more). When I selected Toshiba Portege M700, I only saw two camera-related things on that site for that make and model of laptop. The first thing was the thing on this site that says camera driver utility: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=1927814&rpn=PPM70U&modelFilter=M700&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768662 ^I downloaded that thing that says camera driver utility, and at first it just wouldn't run at all when I tried to run it. I got it to run one time, and then I just got a message saying "Webcam Driver Fail. Please restart camera or computer." Since then it will not run anymore, not even after I restarted. The only other camera-related thing I saw to download for M700 was the thing on this site that says Multimedia Toshiba Camera: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=1927814&rpn=PPM70U&modelFilter=M700&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768662 ^but when I ran that I just got a message saying something like "Camera Assistant is already installed." I just want to know what/what drivers specifically do I need to run/download so that my built-in Chcony usb 2.0 webcam will work, or what else can I do to get the webcam to work? If there is a site to download the specific drivers in working form, I would appreciate if someone could link me. Otherwise what could I be doing wrong that Camera Assistant software just won't run at all, and the built-in webcam won't work?
