How to import old emails from one Hotmail account to another?

• I have had the same email address since I was 12, and now I need a more professional one than a kiddy nickname. I made a new address on hotmail and managed to link them so I can switch between them, but I want to eventually delete the old address, so that the old one is empty and the new one has all my previous emails. I can't find a way to import old emails into the new address, however. The only help I can find is to (a) automatically forward all new email only, (b) link both addresses as I have already done, or (c) forward emails from one account to the other so that the sender comes up as me, the forwarder, not the original sender. Is what I'm looking to do possible? Any help would be appreciated.

  download windows live mail, it is Microsoft's mail program and you can use you hotmail accounts on it, set up is as simple as entering you hotmail id and password, you will then me able to transfer you messages to any of the accounts you have set it up with. i have 3 hotmail accounts set up this way.
