No p2p site is "legal" unless it is a paid site(even if it's like a dollar a month). In order for transferring media over the internet to be legal sites have to maintain a paid subscription process so that way the proper places will be reimbursed.(hence why napster went to a paid site). Even with things like paid upgrades and such it's the only way they can ever claim to be legal. Now if you want a safe site I suggest you learn how to archive your files into torrents and upload to places like thepiratebay.org and mininova.org since they don't have any restrictions on size and sign-ups free. Becareful though because even though things like morpheus and limewire do have the paid subscription upgrades you never truly upload everything your shared folders are automatically set in and thus it's still out of the green area.

Rapidfile.com depositfiles.com you'd probably have to register for 426MB though. I wouldn't upload anything personal though, it might get ripped by someone.
