How to Close a Modal?

How do you close a website which won't close?

  • So often there is a web site, usually worthless spam, which has this effect that when you hit the "X" to close it, a pop up comes up which states, "do you really want to close blahblahblah? Click here to continue learning how you can make thousands at home." or other such nonsense. How do I change my tools or whatever to force a web site to close when I click the X?

  • Answer:

    Google Chrome & Adblock.

The best way to go about that (if you are using Internet Explorer), is to download Google Chrome or other high end web browsers like Firefox, they offer addons that prevent spam websites from constantly being able to keep making windows pop up. Google Chrome itself already has the anti pop up built in and it will ask you something along the lines of: "Do you want to continue taking popups from this website" and once you hit no, it force closes it. Hope it helps.

Put the pop up blocker on, just go to internet security setting.
