Are there any online library sites?

Why can't i get some web sites on my computer, even my e mails from yahoo and msn. i'm using a public library

  • some e mail sites like going for personal loans just won't come up and even my e mails like from yahoo itself and msn won't come up, it says the page can't be displayed

    Maybe the library uses and intranet and downloads certain pages in the morning which can be viewed by users or the have a firewall which blocks certain sites for security either seems feasible you should ask the staff at the public library they would be able to help you further. I do however think it is more likely a firewall thing and so secure site information is not allowed or the library itself doesn't allow cookies and most of the sites you have mentioned use cookies. Cookies may be off or filter enacted to strongly. Check Java Settings. Or find a diff computer.

the websites you wanted to see where filtered, you have to change the proxy setting in your web browser and everything goes right.
