How do i Make zip files that open for PC and MAC users?

I have a small download website and the products are in zip files, when MAC users click on the download button they receive an error page.Obviously i need both ps and mac users to be able to open and download files. Any ideas? Thanks.

Use winrar or 7-Zip, they are availible for most operating systems.

Macs will be able to open any zip file that a windows machine makes. i would imagine that it is the same the other way around. Another file to use would be .rar this splits and compresses files. Very useful and both mac and pc can open them. Mac built in win download winrar.
