How can I delete a former e-mail address?

How can I save some emails and drafts if I want to delete my Yahoo email address and get another one without?

  • having to send each one to the new email address. Is there a way to do it without having to spend so much time emailing each one first to the new address before I delete the address I have now? Thank you all

you can open new account and forward it.. but you can not delete your older account.. so after forwarding you can delete them all.. but hey why should delete as they provide good storage capacity!!

choose Select All. Choose Forward. Forward to your new address. you can't "delete" your old address. you can just choose to not use it any longer. 10 points please :)

Nope dude ... there is now way ... you can ask Yahoo! for a email transfer somehow but i don't think will work ...

just check all the ones you want to send and go to forward, they will all be sent at one time. also it takes like several several months before you yahoo e-mail will be deleted. you can't just cancel it.

No way that I know of other than forwarding each one. And you can't actually delete a yahoo account, after a year or so, I think they delete it if it's inactive. Why do you want to change to another one anyway? Someone bothering you, harrassing you? If that is the case, just place a block on their email address.
