Can i convert an address mailing list i have saved in word into a file that will import into outlook?
-
My wife lost all the info on her old palm PDA, and had not backed it up at all. She does however have a list of almost all the addresses on a christmas card file saved in word. Is there anyway we can convert this file from its present format into a file that outlook will recognise. From there she can link her new PDA to update with outlook and retrieve a lot of her lost info. thanks

Answer:
Providing that the Word document is converted into a plain text file (without any formatting characters) then yes. Just save the Word doc as text only. In Outlook click on File and then Import/Export and select Import Internet Mail Addresses.
