Why are Swiffy files incapable of sound on iPads?

Strange Computer Sound not in sound files ?

• Twice now I have heard a ppfftt.. sound repeated 4 times in a row. I checked all my sound file sounds and all other possibilities. This sound is NOT generated from my computer that I can discover. I have looked everywhere for this sound. Anyone have a similar experience? Also no notification windows show up, just.. ppfftt... ppfftt... ppfftt... ppfftt... None of my programs generate such a sound, that I can discover anyway. OS is XP home. NO viruses discovered, as well. Can anyone help identify it?

  okay, this might sound silly, but have you tried turning off the sound and seeing if you can still hear it? if so, it's not the OS. cause a know fans can make that kind of sound. if it is your tower(or physical laptop) something might need cleaning. well...it could also be just the speakers. Is your cell nearby whenever this happens? Sometimes when I leave my cell close to my comp I hear a strange noise, or even within line of my computer. I had this really annoying one where I could never use my cell close to the computer because the noise wouldn't stop. What happens is that the signal that gets sent to your cell goes through the monitor or speakers and fiddles with their innards causing a weird sound. The same thing will happen if you leave your cell too close to a radio too
