Why won't movie maker save my file?

How do you save Windows Movie Maker project file to a proper movie file NOT by clicking 'Save Movie File'?

Whenever I click 'Save Movie File' Windows Movie Maker crashes. Is there any other possible way to save a project file into a movie file?

What you should do is re-download Windows Movie Maker and re-install it. It is not too big, only 12 MB. You can download it from here for free: http://www.download.com/Windows-Movie-Maker-Windows-XP-/3000-13631_4-10165075.html I had a problem of importing files once, as whenever I'd try to do so it quit. I Re-installed it and the problem went away. It might be a small bug or something with your version of Movie Maker. Hope your problem gets solved.
