Does anyone know of any legit sites where you get paid to do surveys?
-
Being paid can be in the form of gifts or vouchers. I know you get legit ones, please recommend.

Answer:
YouGov are great they pay 50p plus for surveys completed, they tend to be more serious in nature and will ask questions relating more towards current affairs. They post you a cheque when your account hits £50. They send quite a few surveys out and the results can often be seen on TV or in the national press.

YouGov pay around 50p for a short online survey, sending you a cheque when you get to £50. Saros are particulary good - usually one-on-one or group discussion paid around £40-£60 for a couple of hours.

Try American Consumer Opinion in google, I do surveys with these and get paid between £3 and £10. You sometimes get £3 just for taking part, there is also a bonus of and extra £10. With this company you don't have a sign up fee either. I've tried Ciao but they are very particular with their answers and I have never got past the first page as i don't fir their requirements. Don't sign up to something you have to pay for, I got robbed of £60!

I've listed some of the sites I have taken surveys through and actually been paid (or recieved other rewards like gift cards or CDS) on the following, if you are interested: http://www.windhavenweb.com/surveys I list how they pay you, what I like and dislike about them, whether they have an affiliate or referral program, etc. There are others out there. Be careful though, there are also scams. Don't sign up for any survey site which asks you to pay to access the surveys. Also watch for language like "get paid for taking surveys AND SIGNING UP FOR OFFERS" if you don't want to have to sign up for stuff with other companies to get paid. Always carefully read their terms of service and privacy policy. If in their privacy policy they say they only use aggregated info, this is GOOD SIGN they are legit. Aggregated info information that is grouped together so it can't be connected with anyones personal identification like name, e-mail, phone or address. That's what survey sites SHOULD collect. Avoid for sites that say they give, rent, or sell any personal information (info that is not agregated) to third parties (unless you really don't mind getting junk mail, telemarketing calls, and spam). Also just recently came across a good survey ratings site that I've found very helpful: http://www.surveypolice.com/

The rule, as always, is to stay away from those that ask you to pay before you can get these surveys. Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research recruit members based on demographic characteristics -- e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old -- and will send surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey -- you're definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month. Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).
