it probably creates temp files, which can be huge. do a search for them try c://tmp or look in the options of your copying program to see where it dumps them

Junk is hidden all over your computer that you can get rid of. 1: Use Add/remove programs, and remove anything you nolonger use. 2: Use a good disc cleaner to clean the registry, temp folders etc http://www.toniarts.com/products.php?php... This is the Free Toniarts Easycleaner 3: To get that bit of extra space if your system is up to date and stable, you can delete the Windows Update files, but you need a program to do it. http://www.dougknox.com/ and download "Remove Hotfix Backup" As with anything, back it all up before, and create a resotre point just in case. All this can free upto 5GB on a big well used drive. Best of luck

The error is referring to your DVD media (i.e., DVD+R or DVD-R). There are different DVD's. DVD-5 is about 4.3GB, DVD-9 is about 9GB. DVD-9 is also called the dual layer DVD. If you are trying to copy a DVD-9 disc onto a DVD-5, you won't have enough room. The answer is to use a program called DVD Shrink. It will shrink the content of a DVD-9 to fit in a DVD-5 disc.
