How do I get my digital camera to work on MSN?

When using a logitech camera with a buddy how do you get the person's image to appear instead a bridge pic.

• I am trying to get my buddy's camera to display an image of them instead i am getting this picture of a bridge...i would really appreciate anyone who knows why this is happening and even better how to get it to work...it is displaying an image of a bridge on both msn and aim. It is a logitech camera.

  hello. i understand the problem. i had the same problem myself. First thing you need to do is you should install the camera on you computer. when you are done with that , this is what i did to put my image on the msn instant messanger : I went to: Tools, Audio and Video Setup, the message will appear (little window) where it says the type of speakers you have do not click on none instead click on one that you have. Click Next, and the microphone setup video will show up. Read the passage to check the volume of the microphone. Click next, In step 3 it says webcam setup. Where it says to select the webcam you would like to use select logitech camera ultra vision (or the logitech camera that you have) and click on finish . you will be all set. Good Luck!!!
