Why won't the applets load on our Yahoo online games?

I can not play any games through Yahoo. the applets won't load. Should I change any of my settings?

• I can't play any games. The screen for each type of game comes up, I choose a game site within that game (i.e. Backgammon, Snake Pit site that has let's say 96 players) and a blank screen comes up instead of the screen where I can choose the player I want to play. This blank screen has a small box with a red ex (X) in it. On the top of the blank screen it says to click here if the applet doesn't load in 3 minutes. It never changes and if I wait and cllick there the same thing comes up. Do I need to change any settings? What do I need to do? Thank you.

  Ensure that your anti-virus program is not configured to block JavaScripts and Applets... most anti-virus programs have script and appletblocking options which cause this problem... Once you are sure that its not the anti-virus program causing the issue.. goto Tools>>internet options>>security tab and make sure the setting is <Medium-Low> Try accessing games now, if it still does not work.. download the Java Runtime Envoirnment from http://www.java.com/en/download/help/auto_install.jsp More troubleshooting regarding your issue is given on this link http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/games/games-09.html
