Answer:
To speed you your computer and free up space and memory: Go to the Start Menu and click on run Type in appwiz.cpl Uninstall whatever you don't need. You could also try installing CCleaner, it will egt rid of alot of temporary files on your computer: http://www.ccleaner.com/download Another option is to try defragmenting your computer. Go to the Start Menu and go to All Programs Go to Accessories and System Tools. Choose Disk Defragmenter and when it loads click defragment. One final thing I would say is to compress your files if you already haven't. Open My Computer and right click on your hard drive Check the Compress Drive button and let it do it's thing. These are short-term solutions however. the easiest way is to just upgrade the RAM on your system, but at least the ways above are free.

Delete programs you never use anymore. They are space wasters.

Can you tell us what kind of computer it is? Mac, Windows? If you can delete some old things you don't need, such as pictures or word documents. If you have windows (XP) press the start button then on the right press My Documents. If there is any word document (such as story or something) you don't need right click on it and click on delete. Make sure it does not look like a folder. Keep those. Then if go into pictures and do the exact same, when you are done press the back button at the top of the page untill you can see where you started. Go into music or videos if you have anything in there you don't want and do that. Another way is to press the start button and go to my computer and under Hard Disk Drives there should be a drive called C. Right click and go to properties. Near the pie chart there is a button called disk cleanup. Do that, it may take a while though.

Defragment your volumes and try anti-spyware/adware ...... cause spyware and adware can make your pc really slow and then there's one more thing that is ......... Registry clean try Free Registry cleaners .... search for them on google or whatever search engine..... and clean up too much mess on your startup by typing msconfig in the run box and then selecting only relevant programs that start on the startup

Dear Because that most software has automatically function. When you go to the system they would automatically run in the background. So you always use the software is more convenient. But it will also cause unnecessary troubles. There is so much software when you start your PC that the speed will slow down and they can impact of your normal use. We can tell you some simple methods to clear them. Method 1 You can find start-up under options in settings and check close. It is difficult to close one by one, once automatic operation programs are too many. Method 2 You can clean automatic operation programs by manual operation. They are in “run” option of the registry and start menu. Find and clean them. Method 3 If you think the above two methods are not suitable for you. You only clean Start up by professional software. Of course, it is the simplest way. It invisibly saves a lot of energy and time. You can click the website http://computer-optimize.com/ to find the satisfied software I wish my solution could help you. Good luck

If you have alot of programs running, i suggest that you close alot of them out. the reason to your computer being so slo is that all those programs that you got running are using up the computer usage!! Hope that helps =D I WOULDNT reccomend installing a software from the internet because when you install it and you think that it gonna clean out your computer for you, WRONG! it installs some more junk on your computer without you knowing that.. Go and buy software to clean your computer out!! :)

it would be preferable if you'd uninstall unnecessary programs rather than using "end process" every time you start up. Some of those programs maybe running in the background. its really hard to tell apart which ones you can end w/o interrupting anything from the ones you should not. if it's really quite necessary, end all those that taskmgr can end. if its a critical process, taskmgr will inform you. just don't end "explorer.exe." until you get down to about 20 processes.
