How can I enlarge the icons on my browser?

Everything is huge! How to shrink icons and browser back to normal?

  • My son played with the computer and now all the icons on my desktop are enormous and so is my browser. How do I shrink it back to normal size? Thanks!

    right click your desktop and select Proporties. in the window, click the Settings tab and select your pixels. the more you slide the slider to the left, the bigger the screen gets, slide it to the right to make it smaller. hope this helps

If you go to control panel and open the DISPLAY icon, and find the screen size slider where you can change the pixels and drag it all the way backwards then click apply, if it is too small then drag back up a notch and repeat until it is the correct size... Hope this helps, if you post more info like if you have vista or not I can be more specific...

easy!!! Got to desktop properties, then the apperance tab, then click the effects button, then uncheck use large icons. On tha same section your see text size, chage that to normal, hope this helps.

Minimize all your windows. On the desktop, right click and select properties. Click on the settings tab. Move the slider on the Screen Resolution closer to "More". Select Apply. If you like it, click "OK".

For the browser, goto View --> text size --> Medium or Smaller. Right click on empty space on desktop, select Properties --> Appearance --> Font Size (to normal)

Right click on open area of desktop , select properties. Click on the settings tab. Go to change screen resolution higher like to 800x 600 or 1024 x 768

It sounds like your computer is in Safe Mode. Mine does that sometimes and I just restart it and everything goes back to normal. I'm not an expert or anything, so I hope this helps! Happy New Year!!
