What can be the effect of freezing cold on laptop? How should I deal with it?
-
I have a laptop being delivered shortly by US Mail. It is 10 below zero here in Minnesota. Will there be things I should worry about? LCD freezing or condensation when it warms up? What should I do to deal with any of these kind of issues? Thank you Rick

Answer:
Be certain you are home when your new laptop is delivered to your door. And as Errie suggested, give it ample time to adjust to the change in room temperature prior to unwrapping. The manufacturer should have taken appropriate packaging details into consideration.

Condensation is certainly an issue on any electrical item. If you take it outside put it in Bubble wrap before you put it in its case. When you get back inside allow the computer to reach room Temp. before use.
