Why my dvd rw wont burn on dvd's?

"DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive" Does it burn CDs, DVDs, both, or neither?

    A DVD/CD-RW combo drive can only burn CDs, CDR, CDRW, but cannot burn DVD. it can read DVD's though but u need the DVD player software for it installed on ur PC. U can only burn DVDs with a DVD-rw.

As the person above me said, I also have eclectic taste in music. I track down what I like, then burn cds full of various genres. So more homemade cds for me. About 50/50 on dvds, I suppose.
