How to delete stuff from the http:// bar?

How can I delete a site that comes up when I type stuff in my search bar?

  • Okay well my mom doesn't know I have a Myspace and when I type it in a URL it pops up like it is suggesting sites that I might want to go to... is there anyway I can delete this or changed my settings?

    Go to Tools->Internet Options->Browsing History->Delete->Delete History And for the future, you could do a search for myspace and then click on it so you dont type it in the address bar.

On my computer, I can click Tools, Internet options, clear history. When I do that, the sites that I visited are cleared so the search bar doesn't list any websites.

All that you have to do to clear this list is clear your history. Easy.

Yes, you can set your history to be 0 days. Tools->Internet Options->Browsing History Settings : Days to keep pages in history.

If using Firefox go to options Then settings then look for the 'privacy' and un click the option that saves searches. IE is probably similar.
