Why are Windows Media Player slowing down?

Why wont the songs I transferred to my mp3 player from Windows Media, play on another computer with Windows?

  • I have a different version of Windows Media player than the other computer. I put some songs on my mp3 player, then transferred them onto another computer that has perhaps another version of Windows Media, perhaps a little older. It will take the songs, but when I try to create a playlist so I can burn the songs to cd, it gives me an error message. Is there any other way I can get the songs from my comp to the other? My cd burner broke and I must burn a cd.

some older versions of windows media player don't burn cds. If the mp3s have drm then the rights will not transfer across. cd burners are about $7. try cleaning the lens with a lens cleaning kit.
