Why does my SATA port not work?

What is motherboard that has at least 6 sata port with raid 5 capablity.?

I'm planning to build a home data server. I bought 6 500gb sata hard drives to raid, but it is so hard to find inexpensive motherboard that does raid 5 with 6 drives . I went to newegg and say intel motherboard with 6 SATA 3Gb/s option it showed me 61 motherboards. but althogh it say it has 6 sata ports and raid capablity, when I go in to their product site and download the product manual, they say maximum raid possible is only with 4 drives. I didn't know this at first and bought Intel BOXDG965WHMKR motherboard which has 6 port and later I found out that raid only work with 4 drive on this motherboard. So I went to internet and looked up bunch of different motherboard they were same...So what is under 100$ motherboard that has at least 6 sata port with raid 5 capablity. It does not only have to be in newegg.
