How do I put a Windows Movie Maker movie on Youtube?

How do I download videos from sites such as Youtube convert them to WMV then put them on Windows Movie Maker?

  • There are a bunch of Family Guy videos and some other stuff that I want to take off of sites such as Youtube, convert to WMV and then put on Windows Movie Maker. I am just not sure how to do this so if someone could please tell me then I will be very happy. P.S. If I'm making a compilation of videos or something and wish to get only a tiny clip of a long video file how do I get it?

    Go to http://www.keepvid.com to download the video in an FLV format. Then you need to convert it to a WMV format so use the free software from the link below to convert from FLV to WMV.

here go to this site http://vixy.net/ and then paste the youtube url of your video then select the format you want to download it in and click start and yer good 2 go

Well, you can get an FLV player but if you dont want to spend money download a tube sucker and prism. Prism is a file converter and Tube Sucker let's you download vids off of youtube. and yes, they are free to get. (Whatever you do, don't get the pro)

You can try downloading a program called TubeSucker which should allow you do download a video from YouTube. There are also some other programs that you can find online that will do similar things. Once you have it downloaded (usually as a FLV file, you will have to find an FLV to WMV converter. Once you finish the conversion you will have your WMV file to do what you want. If you want to get clips you will have to search for a video editor. There are a lot of free versions out there..just search for it online.=) Good luck!
