How do I send an attachment bigger than 10mb?

How can I send a .wma file that is 12.9 mb when the biggest attachment I am allowed is 10mb.?

  • I tried splitting the file with winzip but when I sent it to my other computer to test it , the virus protection picked up the non zip parts as infected with virus. I ran several virus scans and there is no virus but I don't want to send the file like that if the recipient is going to get the virus message.

1) Re-encode it at a lower bitrate. 2) Re-encode it in mono instead of stereo. 3) Re-encode it in two separate parts. 4) Upload it to a file-hosting site.

You have to divide the file in multiples of a decimal bit category, and use the file .mph extension. Or maybe we just can agree I don't know what you mean. Either of those choices.

just send it in a compressed zipped folder. that should work

You cand find another way to send it or you can zip the find with wizip or winrar and set the fize to 9MB and the zip program will cut the files into two... Then you can send two e-mails each with a piece and they can unzip them and play the file.. winzip.vom rarlabs.com

try using a Gmail account. It's the easiest way to do it. Otherwise use a file-sharing site. The ones mentioned above are good.
