Answer:
it takes more than just clearing history which is what most people think is the solution do the following and you will have no worries open your browser click tools up top click internet options click clear history change the days to keep history to 0 click delete files now click the content tab click auto complete click clear forms then where it says use autocomplete for uncheck all the things you dont want your browser to store. that way you wont have to keep going back and clearing things out. good luck

yes click start, control panel, internet options, there click the delete files, delete cookies, delete history, than go back and click the content tab at the top, than click auto complete, click clear forms, click clear passwords, than uncheck any of those boxes you dont want.

im guessing you have been looking in places you dont want other people to see uh?! anyway go into internet connections and delete the history, this will get rid of them all. then everytime you want to visit those naughty sites you've clearly looking at just do the same again. dan

Answer by Ryan M is almost the point. A tiny ammendment though, apart from deleting cookies and clearing the histories, to clear the search engine and address list caches, you could go to Tools --> Internet Options --> Contents(tab) --> Auto Complete --> Click "Clear Forms" and "Clear Passwords". This will ensure that all personal information stored/accessed by you will be erased.

I think the others have answerd your question :) There is an alternative of clearing the History in Internet Explorer and that is by clicking on the History button and then right clicking the folder and clicking delete. For all those who did not know :)

go to the control panel and choose internet settings. then "clear history" will appear on the lower part of the window. that's it.

Go to options and then scroll down to clear search history (it should be in a white rectangular box at the top of the home page with a magnifying glass in it.)
Holly
At the top of your browser click options then internet options then delete all history and cookies :)
