What is Yahoo message board?

What would be the best way to create a message board, yahoo related R&P people sort of a thing?

  • I'm not terribly gifted in this internet thing, but I spend a lot of time on Yahoo answers in the Rock and Pop section. I would like to create a message board system to avoid the silly violations people have been getting for chatting, not a question, etc. What is the best way to set up a message board to accomidate us? Something that can allow for sub-categories that would work like questions on this site, is free, and user friendly (since I'm kind of internet sucky)? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Sorry Prof. I didn't have a way to contact you. Sarah, you should have an invite in your mail box. I sent one to everybody that responded to the message board question over in R&P that I recognized except for BC... also didn't have a way to contact her. If you guys find anybody else that I missed, please spread the word.

Looks like Mike has beat us all to it. Just started one today in response to the wave of senseless violations several received on Black Friday. http://yarefugees.yuku.com/directory Yeah, Darth's chat room is also awesome. You never know what to expect in there!

To be honest, I run in fear when I see computers. But I know that there is Yahoo!Groups and there are free chat sites we can set up. Darth has his own chat site that several of us from R&P go on. This is a really good idea.... I'm just terrible with technology ;0 ) EDIT: Whoa rckets!
