How can i delete my livejournal permanently?

How can I permanently delete websites I have visited so there is no trace of them?

  • I want to permanently delete websites that I visited and make it so that nobody can ever come back and see that I was on the website or that something came from me. The thing is, I sent a text message to someone from my laptop for one of my friends. Her husband was cheating on her and she wanted to send an anonymous text to the girl that he was married because she felt as if he hadnt revealed that he was married and she probably didn't know. My husband told me not to get involved in their situation, but having been cheated on before, I felt compelled to do it. I don't want him to snoop on my computer to find that I did indeed meddle, seing as to how her husband and my husband are friends. I don't want him to tell my husband that something is up and my husband turn to me to get answers. I would much rather tell a "small lie", (what is a small lie anyway) and take this little secret with me forever. Computer guru's, please weigh in.

    Wow, that is a bad trend that you are doing. Lies only build up to more trouble later. It's a proven fact. Anyway, if you are that unfaithful to your hubby, I suggest you go to google and download the OTHER best internet browser, which is Mozilla Firefox. You can surf the web faster and safer and whenever you need to delete your history, all you need to do is hold ctrl + shift + del and that will delete all the browsing history.

Download CCleaner. I use it all the time to remove my "computer" footprints. I really recommend it and it frees up a lot of space as well to make your computer run faster.

You can download Ccleaner for free, it is easy to find. Before you use it, go to the options section, then click "settings" then click the circle that shows (secure file deletion). This setting will delete the file and write over it so it can't be recovered. Remember that simply deleting a file is never enough to keep away, it is still there and can be recovered if not securely deleted. I strongly recommend this program for everyone. You could do one of three things. However, only one will guarantee that your history won't be viewed. 1. Clear history 2. Reformat your hard drive 3. Destroy your hard drive Completely destroying your hard drive is the only way you will know FOR SURE that your history won't be discovered. No matter what precautions you take on your computer, there's always going to be a way that a highly trained computer tech can find the websites you've visited in the past. The only possible way to prevent this, is to remove your hard drive from existence completely.

the only thing i know to do is to go delete thehistory and the cookies. but i dont know if that makes it go away forever.. it just make sit harder to access and find. someone would have to dig deep to find your history after you deleted it.

Ccleaner is a program that will delete every site and every cookie on your computer just download the program and run the cleaner. Just erasing the history wont erase everything!With that program i can see if i run an analyze what site you visited even if you deleted the history.So just download the program and NOBODY will be able to see the site you want on!
