What are points on Yahoo?

What's the purpose of: site/still getting kicked off of yahoo/ 1 month later/ how many points does that give?

  • Over 1 month ago I submitted a question for help. Yahoo browser kicks me off close to 6 times in a matter of 2 minutes. Have un-installed & re-installed - to date - no change... Tried changing security areas to see if this made any type of change - NO! I understand this site is for Yahoo users to help each other out, but this can not be an isolated incident - meaning it only happens on my computer..Why do I keep getting kicked off of Yahoo? I have an AOL account and can use that for days on end and never get kicked offf...I spoke to Yahoo themself, they said I should un-install all of Yahoo, which I have tried to, except there is one area that won't let me un-install it unless all else is gone first...well I cannot find anything of Yahoo left in my add/remove programs except that one that has to be deleted last...but yet, it won't let me delete that item....wondering if this all has something to do with browser....help, anyone............Thanks

  • Answer:

I must say your situation is of the rarest kind, and I took what you mean of "being kicked off" as you can't get to a page, ever try to login into your account thru another pc, like the pc of your friends, internet cafe or library. If it has the same problem then its yahoo's problem. Otherwise you have a major problem with your pc, in terms of software running, you need a computer expert to see into it.
