Best Free Music Making Software?

  • Hey, for a while now I've really wanted to start making my own techno music, I was just wondering what is the best free to download music making programme for say making techno remixes, It's something I'd like to get into and I'd like to get a free programme to start me off on the basics. Links would be appreciated because I'm very sketchy about what's spyware and what's not.
