How to burn video files from computer to dvdr?

  • i downloaded movies useing limewire,and now i am trying to burn them to blank dvdr. i have a dvd burner and cd burner.i downloaded dvd shrink but it won't work

    Nero is one of the best software programs for this type of task. Nero version 6 came with the option to burn DVD's in several different formats. As with burning audio CD's you need to make sure you burn the DVD in the format your DVD player will recognize. Depending upon which format these video files were downloaded in you may need to convert them to something that Nero will recognize. All you have to do to find the right converter is type in the address bar on your computer what you wish to convert for example AVI to MP2 converter.

no of coure, download something like DVD creator or sonic dvd those are programs to make dvd from videos that you have on your hard drive

I'm guessing your DVD writer should have come with software to do this. Is the movie you downloaded a MP2? If it should not be a problem. If it's a MP3, then you will need a converter. Windows Movie Maker 2, I think has this converter (but I'm not sure if that is out yet.)

nero vision express i use this to burn avi windows media player files the prog also converts the avi and windows media to dvd

you need to convert them to VOB files 1st!!!

you need to convert your movie to vob by using winavi,or dixtodvd you get those softwars by downloading them from any torrents sites or even from limewire. usually it takes few hours to convert ur movie ..and then use nero and burn the files u get on dvd
