Can you get caught downloading files illegally?

IS their a HIGH chance of getting caught by using limewire to get a few songs then deleting it and the files??

  • i dont have limewire now but im really thinking about it because i know some people who have it and its just so unfair because i have to pay a buck on itunes to get a song and stuff it eventually added up and i have a 70 dollar bill on my credit card so i was thinking about getting limewire and downloading a few songs im not talkin about like 100 or anything maybe like less then 10 and then putting it on itunes and deleting the limewire off my computer and the files of the songs DO you think their is a chance of getting caught??? is it worth doing ???

    no girl go for it..... i've had limewire for over 4 yrs now. you dont get caught with crab lol..... and more than likely you will not delete it when your threw.....you want to get all the new songs, and limewire has a huge variety! so i suggest you get it!!!! or if your really scared about it, get Limewire Pro. and you can pay for that and no one can tell you ANYTHING! hope i helped!

they only catch you if you're sharing file, so don't let people upload music you have. Just download, no upload.

umm if you delet it then you wont be able to listen to da song.... like even after you save it to itunes

Looks like the record industry is doing their job of scaring people. No, you wont get caught, and even if you did the punishment wouldnt be much. The people that are getting in trouble are the people that are actually putting thousands and thousands of songs up for others to download. I haven't paid for music since... 1996.

limeware sucks get bittorrent you definitely wont get sued.!!!! only if you share it but not if you download, all of those other guys are ****** , so yeah. Ok first download bittorrent. then... after installing and everything. go to google and put this in the search bar (your movies name) torrent or for discographies (artist/band) discography torrent and for all of those find a link that says download this torrent aster seeing that you click it and you open the application on bittorrent. This will do it Requirements; High speed internet- optional, but works better Computer- of course unless your a hillbilly and the bittorrent program
