Is there a DRM-free music software where you don't have to pay for the songs?

I have downloaded iMesh, Music Oasis, and Bearshare but all of their free music is protected by "DRM". I have tried finding "DRM to MP3 converters" but they eather dont work, or cost money. I just want to put music on my iPod with out paying, so I need a DRM-free software that wont cost me money. Plllleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssseee… help :L

After getting burned by Apples ridiculous DRM years ago (I foolishly uploaded hundreds of CD's into iTunes, and after backing it up on an external, thought "yaaaay!! I'm all digital now!!!" and tossed away my CD collection... I'm kind of stupid sometimes), I went through the normal channels of limewire, torrents, etc. Nowadays I'm really content downloading songs or albums from Amazon. Same price as iTunes (not as much selection) but you can take it in any form you want and transfer it as you please. Because, well, you bought it, you own it, it's the proper way companies should be handling things.

lolpirate, any torrent sites, any p2p services. most of the stuff shared on those is drm free.
