Are there techniques for working with larger Adobe Premiere CS3 projects?
-
I am having memory issues in Premiere when I import more than 20 AVI video files ranging from 25 to 125MB. I am running a high-performance PC with 2GB of RAM. Am I overtaxing Premiere, and is there a better way for me to be working with so many files? Thanks.

Answer:
I've worked with 12 gigabytes files in Premier with no problem and only 512 Mb RAM, so you should look at what else is taking up your memory, perhaps you're opening too many files at once? What do you have running in the background? Try opening less files at once. Try adding the files as you need them. Good luck!
