What is the best media player? why?

  1...One can rate a media player only by its type, e.g. a real player is appreciated when you want to hear songs online with all those options for radios, videos, trailers, news headlines etc., and also for people who have low hard disk space... because a real media song will occupy only 1 mb, whereas an mp3 will take up 5mb/song. 2...But if u r concerned about customizations with all those myriad of options and settings, visualizations etc., then one should go for winamp... its an ongoing open project... so the options and facilities just keep growing. 3...Musicmatch would be fine for people who use various media types and keep doing lot of media conversions, like real to mp3, wav to mp3 and so on.... So one can rate a player only based on its usage....each of the above is best in their own targetted area...
