Friend says you can download nero dvd burning software for free. Anyone know where?

yep a classic misconception,anyone can download it free but it is a time limited trial or shareware title,if its not then its warez and illegal,this not only gets you fined but also pushes up the price for everyone else who buys it,where do you think the developers get the revenue back from for piracy,yep they bung up prices to compensate.for every single piece of software there is you can usually get a freeware alternative.ask the guys at www.oldversion.com on their forums they will sort ya.

You can download trial editions form Nero's website directly. Complete working editions are illegal to download.
