Is there a program where i can record just the sound from a video clip from you-tube?

if you have a mac or mac software you can use garage band and record just the sound without the image.

There probably is a program, but I have found a site which converts the sound to mp3 and then you can download the mp3 file directly from the site. It's easier (for me) and it doesn't require you to install any software. http://www.video2mp3.net/ It's pretty simple, just enter in the URL, choose the video quality (if there is a high quality option on the video, choose that option) and then hit convert. Depending on your browser, it will probably even download the mp3 file automatically after it converts (if not, there will be a download button). Conversion only takes a few seconds (maybe 30 seconds or so), and downloading the mp3 only a few seconds more (depending on your internet speed).
