Java applets won't work on my computer. Help?
-
I tried it in Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari and it won't work with any of them but at the bottom of where the java applet is supposed to be is says java applet is working! I even checked my java settings and it says that applets are set to work but all I get is a white box where ever an applet is supposed to be I am running Firefox 10.0 and Max OS X Lion, and java 1.6 64 bit. 10 points to the first answer that works.

Answer:
First make sure you don't have any old versions of java installed. If that isn't the problem uninstall java and install it again, I work in IT and that is a much more common problem than you would think.
