Is there a software where i can edit my music?

I Recently got this laptop from my mom so i can work on my music. It has Windows 7 installed on it so that means that windows media player 12 came with it. I don't like that version cause it wont let me edit my songs and add the clip art to the album cover so I prefer version 11 but it wont let me download it since i already have an updated version of windows media. Is there another software that I can download that will let me edit and save my songs information on to my computer?

To edit your songs, you'll have to find the files in Windows Explorer, find the "My Music" Folder, on Windows 7 its simply "Music" under "Libraries." Find the file you want to edit, right click, select "Properties" find the "Details" tab and edit artist, album, song name, track number, year and any other information. There are programs out there that can fill the information for you, but I like to do things manually on the computer. I can't stand Windows Media Player 12 either, it works in such a weird way. For the album cover, google the image of the desired album cover, save the picture, open it up in your downloads folder, have Windows Media Player open, and drag and drop the picture onto the frame next to the song, it should work. If it does not, check your files, some may be corrupted and refuse the picture, or your Media Player 12 library may be corrupted.

For music editing I would recommend Audacity (just google that and it'll pop up). But for what you want, which is more or a less a music library manager, I would try the Zune software (again, google "zune software download" and it should pop up.) Good luck!
